EXPO ASTANA, KAZAKHSTAN 2017
We were present at this outstanding international exhibition, one of the most prominent in the world, focused on renewable energies. We carried out shows and performances not only in the Spanish pavilion, but also in the most relevant pavilion: that of Kazakhstan, the host country of the event. Over three months, we displayed our impactful presentations, contributing to the vibrant and enriching atmosphere of the exhibition.
MAIN PAVILION OF KAZAKHSTAN
We were the designers and architects behind the theatrical show presented in the main pavilion “Astana Sphere Tokamak”, a performance carried out by Kazakh-modernist dancers. This captivating staging emulated the appearance and operation of a nuclear reactor powered by seawater, all in line with the central theme of the event: “The Energy of the Future.” Our show was a compendium of dynamic performances that included stunning dances, highlighting the amazing flexibility of our talented dancers, and aerial loom acrobatics that symbolized the particles involved in generating energy within the reactor.
This exciting spectacle was performed seven times a day over a period of three months, in a monumental challenge that was successfully tackled. Our team approached this task with dedication and passion, and the end result was a performance that contributed significantly to the atmosphere and message of the event.
SPAIN PAVILION
We were honored with the selection to represent Spain at the Astana World Expo 2017. The Spanish pavilion was erected with the slogan “Spain, Energy for the Planet”, and to enrich its image, we had the generous contribution of Juan Bueno, who He gave up the rights to his artistic work to decorate the façade of the pavilion. This same work was used to give a touch of class to our stilt walkers and gymnasts, culminating in a spectacular presentation where dance and choreography merged to the rhythm of live music performed by typical instruments of the community.
